Espayo pledge 10% of all sales towards essential EHV-1 fundraising

For the past 4 weeks, Espayo have been exhibiting at the Sunshine Tour in Vejer De La Frontera. After all that has happened in the past year with COVID, we were so excited to finally be at a show, and able to meet with our amazing customers, old and new, and show everyone our new products.

Sadly, once again, the show has been cut short. After the initial outbreak of EHV-1 in Valencia, in the past few days we have had confirmation that there are cases of the virus here in Vejer. As a result, the show has been cancelled with immediate effect and we are currently in the process of finding a safe passage back to the UK.

As many of you will already be aware, this virus has had a devastating impact on the horses who have been affected. Everyone who is part of the equestrian industry is in it for the love of the horses, and to see them suffer in this way is heartbreaking.

Here at Espayo we have been trying to decide what we can do to help support those affected by EHV-1, and from today, 10% of our sales will go towards essential fundraising for lifesaving equipment for the horses in Valencia. We cannot stress enough how vital it is that further machines, disinfectant, bedding, veterinary equipment and supplies are sent out to those affected, and we hope we can make some impact with this new initiative.
